Delete your account & data
You can permanently delete your GPSDotWatch / CycLocator account and the personal data associated with it. There are two ways — pick whichever is easier.
1. In the app (fastest)
Open the CycLocator app, go to Profile → Delete account, and confirm. This takes effect immediately — no waiting, no email needed.
2. Request by email
If you can't use the app (for example you no longer have it installed), email us and we'll delete your account for you. Send the request from the email address on your account if you can, or tell us the display name and an event you took part in so we can find you.

Your personal information is permanently removed:
- Your name, email, and profile details.
- Your profile photo.
- Your link to Apple / Google sign-in and your device identifier.
What is kept (anonymized)
Your past ride GPS points are retained as part of each event's record and map history, but they
are anonymized — the name attached to them becomes [Deleted User],
with no link back to you. Standard operational server logs are kept only as long as needed for
security and debugging.
