What kind of event?

A quick tour of your options β€” you'll choose these on the next screen (and can change them later in Manage). This is just so the choices make sense.

1 Β· What spectators see

πŸ‘€ Anonymous dots

Moving dots, no names. A rider in distress is named to event staff only β€” the public sees a red dot. No roster, no standings; riders just join with the code.

Best for: casual group rides, big open rides, privacy-sensitive events.

🏷️ Named dots

Dots show rider names publicly. See who's where β€” no formal ranking.

Best for: club rides, supported tours, anywhere the group wants to spot each other.

πŸ† Leaderboard / race

Names + ranked standings per category. Import your roster (BikeReg), riders claim their entry; live placings, finish cutoffs, DNS/DNF/FIN.

Best for: actual races. Needs a little more setup (roster + categories) in Manage after creating.

Included with every event

πŸ—ΊοΈ OnTheRoute β€” a free offline map for your riders

Your whole course and every resupply, in their pocket, with no signal needed. Auto-built from the route you upload β€” nothing extra to set up, free for every rider.

  • Fully offline β€” route + map tiles download to each phone. Remote gravel or an ultra with no cell service? They still have the map.
  • Resupply, mapped β€” fuel, water, food, lodging, bike shops & pharmacies along the route (from OpenStreetMap), tappable for phone & hours where known.
  • Your time stations & control points β€” marked straight from your route file as on-course references.
  • β€œWhat’s ahead” β€” riders see the next fuel, water or aid by distance up-course, with no data connection and no guessing.

Riders stay self-supported and confident even off the grid β€” and your event looks like the pros run it.
